All proceeds from both races benefit The Seaside Neighborhood School and all monies raised will stay in the community and be used to enhance school programs. Seaside Neighborhood School is celebrating its 11th year and is a public charter school in Walton County. SInce it began operation, SNS has consistently been awarded an "A" rating by the Department of Education.

Because we are a charter school, our funding is different than other public schools in Florida. Unlike most public schools, whose extra-curricular programs and capital improvement expenses receive state funding, SNS must raise funds to finance building costs and maintenance, band, arts, technology, and field trips. We could not operate SNS without the support of individuals and businesses that so generously contribute to the race and our school's mission. Our mission is simple - to provide students in Walton County with individualized and innovative instruction, delivered by quality teachers in a community based, small school setting.
